![]() Photographs 2007-2016 edited this topic ages ago. (before I was getting hardly any contrast with almost completely cyan image)Īlso now tested with 6.7.2-10 and all good with that too I just downgraded to 6.6.7 and it works beautifully now So, downgrade the ImageMagick, then let me know if it helps. Pavel Kunc was very kind to test it and he told me the latest useful version of ImageMagick is 6.7.2-10. ![]() The script is not compatibile with the newest ImageMagick, so you need to install older version. Quite a few people is using my script: I'm not sure what is the nature of your problem. My only problem with negfix8 is that I can't make it work with colour negative films, but I know it can (you only have to look at JaZ99wro's 'stream to see that). If you think that it's too much work, or that everything negfix8 can do you can do better in PS or Silverfast or Vuescan, then it probably isn't the thread for you. ![]() So I'm starting this thread in the hope of creating a resource for other negfix8 users to swap info. No fiddling with the image until I have imported the final base image into LR, where I know what I'm doing. Using negfix8, I have two major decisions to make in Silverfast: what to call the output files, and where to put them. ![]() Trying to learn how best to use either from forums produced (as so often) conflicting recommendations. I originally started using negfix8 because I found both Vuescan and Silverfast overly complex and with badly coded interfaces. The script is written and maintained by a Flickr usr, It can be got here: /site/negfix/ Negfix8 is a script, available for Windows and Linux, that uses ImageMagick to invert a TIFF file created by Silverfast's HDR mode into a form suitable for import and manipulation by post-processing software. ![]() I use negfix8 as part of my "hybrid workflow".Īlmost all the film images visible on my own Flickr 'stream have been created using negfix8. ![]()
